This Sunday Cal Ripken, Jr. and Tony Gwynn will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. I'm hard pressed to think of two more deserving players from "my era" (that is, guys whom I watched play). I still remember the night when Cal broke the record for consecutive games played (the 20 minute ovation was incredible). And even when Tony got fat, the dude could still hit!

Mike,
Tony and Cal are all right, but what really matters in baseball right now is the Cubs are 1/2 game out of first place!!!!!!
Go Cubs!
